Assignment 1.1
Narrative Concept & Story Pitch
🎥 Video Outline
What is a Narrative Concept?
- Short “elevator pitch” for your game idea.
- Explains world, player role, conflict, and tone.
Core Elements to Include:
- Premise — one sentence that hooks the audience.
- Player Role — who the player is and what they do.
- Conflict/Goal — what drives the story forward.
- Tone/Genre — sci-fi, fantasy, puzzle, survival, etc.
Scope Reminder:
- This is a vertical slice, not a full game.
- Keep it simple, small, and achievable.
Pitching Tips:
- Under 2 minutes when spoken.
- Start with the hook.
- Be concise, avoid overloading with detail.
- End with why it’s unique.
